For the last four years, Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport in Minnesota has been ranked as one of best large airports in the U.S. and the world by several customer satisfaction surveys. The reasons for such high marks include the airport’s spacious Lindbergh Terminal, a wide assortment of shops and restaurants and the ease of navigating the airport. However, as a fortress hub for Northwest Airlines, passengers are less satisfied with the high fares that are associated with one airline controlling approximately 80 percent of all passenger traffic.
