Sacramento International Airport is 12 miles northwest of downtown Sacramento, California’s state capital. Sacramento is located in California’s Central Valley approximately 90 miles from San Francisco and Lake Tahoe and just 50 miles from Napa. The small and easy-to-navigate airport is divided into two separate terminals – A and B. It is served by 13 major airlines including Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and Continental Airlines. In 2002, Mexicana Airlines launched nonstop service to Guadalajara, Mexico from the airport necessitating the completion of an International Arrivals Building, which is located between the two terminals. You can also fly nonstop to New York City, Newark, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Guadalajara, Honolulu, Houston, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Kansas City, and all major California cities.
